The towers of Notre-Dame will be open to visitors in 2025 with an enhanced tour route

Made famous by Victor Hugo's novel published in 1831, the cathedral fascinates visitors today more than ever because of its architecture and its central role in the history of France.

A redesigned tour route

Meticulous work by architects and craftsmen is currently underway in the towers. Teams from the Centre des Monuments Nationaux are preparing the next stage in the redevelopment of the tour route, with a redesigned scenography that will offer both sensitive mediation and breathtaking views of the rebuilt spire and the roof structure!

By 2025, they will be ready to welcome back visitors from all over the world, who will also be able to admire the exceptional panoramic view of Paris from the top.
